Schmie

To conduct oneself without an end-goal in mind. Often used to moving through a commercial area without purchasing, akin to window-shopping, but can also be used to describe wandering on the internet (e-schmying). The word operates on multiple scales, from scrolling on your phone to walking through a shopping mall to wandering through life.

Grandma says she doesn't like to schmie around - she likes to walk with a purpose.
I'm going to start reading before bed so I don't schmie around on the internet!
