Milkboarding is a less common form of torture in which milk is poured over the face of an immobilized captive, thus causing the individual to experience the sensation of drowning. Milkboarding can cause extreme pain, dry drowning, damage to lungs, and several symptoms related to lack of oxygen. Symptoms can also include bad breath lasting several weeks or even months, as a result of milk decomposing in the lungs.
Milkboarding is being used in parts of the fitness industry (the strong parts) as punishment for spreading stupidity.
Traditionally, whole milk is used for the torture. In rare cases, whole milk with added cream is used. The added cream increases the amount of fat in the milk, resulting in a higher level of oxygen restriction.
Although milkboarding has several similarities to waterboarding, the use of milkboarding is mainly for punishment, not as means to retrieve information.
