The Maze

Traffic-reporter slang adopted by commuters. Generically, any complicated freeway interchange, though sometimes locals have more colorful names, like Las Vegas' "Spaghetti Bowl". In the San Francisco Bay Area, "The Maze" refers to either the 580-980-24 interchange in Oakland, or the collection of the 580-980-24 interchange, the 880-980 interchange, and the 80-580 interchange leading to the Bay Bridge.
