Contraction for the slang phrase "I'm gonna"--I'm + gonna=ima. Popularly considered a contraction for "I'm going to", but since there ain't no a in "going to", only in "gonna", clearly gonna is the word represented by the a in "ima".

Ima go grocery shopping after work. Ima be upset if my McD's order is wrong again.
