an expletive that replaces the word "fuck" popularized by the the updated SciFi channel show Battlestar Galactica but originally used in the Battletech novels possibly derived from the term "frackencrack" that was used as an expletive in the 1988 novel by Robert N. Charrette 'Wolves On The Border'. It appears in a later novel by Robert N. Charrette from 1989 'Heir To The Dragon' as simply "Frak".
