A fictional race of small blue beings, everyone has only one purpose in life and they are named after that one purpose (eg. Painter Smurf, Clumsy Smurf,l Brainy Smurf etc). No one knows exactly how many there are, they all use the word "smurf" in place of any verb and they all look the same (except for Papa Smurf who wears red clothes and Smurfette who wears a white dress). If there is anything around the Smurf Village that needs to be done, you can be sure that there exists a smurf to smurf it.
Someone disposable who purchases pseudoephedrine pills for a methamphetamine manufacturer. If the "cook" himself were to purchase the pills it would draw attention from the police so they use "psuedo-smurfs" instead. It doesn't really matter if a "smurf" gets caught because there are so many of them and the REAL "cook" can keep on cooking.
This became adopted into video games for someone who uses a different or new account (a so called "smurf-account") to test out hacks and cheats to see if they are safe to use on a real account. This is to minimize the risk of the real account to get banned or suspended for cheating. If the smurf account gets banned they know that the hacks aren't safe enough.

Example 1: "Papa Smurf told Brainy Smurf that Smurfette asked Painter Smurf to smurf her portrait and give to Clumsy Smurf."
Example 2: "Yo, I just started smurfing pseudo for this guy who cooks crystal for me, he pays real good."
Example 3: "I found this new hack for Overwatch thats supposed to be undetectable, bro. I'm gonna test it out with my smurf-account and if I make it to plat, I know its safe."
