Roughing out your brain will make you smarter and diplomatic, this is however limited by the natural genetic evolution of the human brain, which: compared to godlike smoothness is impossible for anyone to comprehend, unless they are indeed on the godlike level. Roughing it out also comes with a few cons, first being bigger head, and bigger body (obesity closely associated with "big-brainers"). This will definitely slow you down, both in thought and athleticism. Most often, the bigger-brainers are known as "party-poopers" as they come up with boring, too complicated to understand or care for explanations to anything and everything they come across, which is also considered extremely boring.

The insanely rare "Simpleton-Brainer" is so rare it should be kept in a wildlife zoo with all possible restraints attached to avoid any unnecessary accident from evolving in it's chaotic environment. Anything below very high level smooth-boys should never be allowed in the near proximity or even visual reach from this monster, let alone manage and take care of it. Conveying this beast away from it's own misery is considered impossible by expert smooth scientists. So we're told to simply spectate and let it be.

Smoothing out your brain will also negatively affect your intelligence and reason, this is precisely why smooth-brainers are often called "stupid hippies" or "vegans" by lower class citizens because they seem to become increasingly stupid as they level up. This will however all pay off in the end, when you reach the ultimate goal of unity with the universe. The path to godlike status is and literally goes through the "rough", which is also why around half of the worlds population decide to stay in this lower level of "rough" class brainers, which usually leads to a steady decline of their life into a criminal and abuse filled life-path, which always tends to end in horrible death.
