Coined by the World Health Organisation, where it means that if richer countries get a potential vaccine, especially for Covid-19, they won't give it to poorer countries that would need it most and therefore leaving them exposed to more danger.

A scam tactic used by some sellers of Amazon, where it involves setting up fake accounts under a stranger's name and then posting out random items to allow them to create favorable "verified purchase" reviews on them.
Out of the blue, I received an odd package that is 300g worth of polystyerene balls, and then another of coloured straws days later. I believe I've been a victim of brushing.

A non or partly-functioning government usually with several vacant ministerial posts and a caretaker Prime Minister, who can only do certain things until a successor is elected. Usually, this is seen as a reason that a general election must be called.
