An echo chamber of various leftists (wokes, yellowtards/pinktards, socialists, and communists) from the Philippines, primarily containing anti-government sentiment when it comes to political and socio-cultural issues. While prior to 2016 during the election of current President Rodrigo Duterte, it is known to have a relatively fair and normal discussion when it comes to almost any Philippines-related topic, otherwise obscure from the general population due to the lack of interest from mainstream media outlets such as ABS-CBN or GMA-7. But ever since the president's administration began, it has sharply slanted itself as a forum for users with anti-government and opposition sentiment, even to the point of becoming an echo chamber due to the massive downvoting of challenging or pro-government views. This has been further proven by the admin's obvious leftist bias judging from the background color and profile pic.

Get the r/Philippines mug.
A cesspool of Liberal elites browsing Reddit while sipping on their 3rd Starbucks drink of the day. Majority of the users are also people who have their head stuck up their arse just because they graduated from the prestigious universities (only through daddies ₱₱₱₱ to the Deans pocket). So disconnected from the current state of the Philippines, they lack self awareness on why their St. Leni Robredo lost the 2022 Presidential Elections to a son of a dictator.

Call them an "elitista", you will be astonished at how they recoil, how injured they are, how they suddenly shrink back and say 'I've been found out!'
I love going to r/Philippines!
I'm gonna create my 5th post there today just so I can dunk on President BlengBlong Narcos that I found in the FB group MO4D LOL
Get the r/Philippines mug.
Formerly the best subreddit ever made, now the WORST subreddit ever made.
Examples of posts:
Before (2008-2016, Pre-Duterte):

Manila stops construction of Torre de Manila

Enrile vs Miriam: Enrile shreds Miriam in privilege speech

Now (2016-present, Duterte-present era):
Tattoos talaga sya! Say no to misinformation :))
(just unfunny comedy posts now)
r/Philippines used to be the best subreddit, now r/crappyoffbrands is the best subreddit.

The best reddit and discord community ever. They don't appreciate cucks and they're actually functioning members of society unlike their counterpart r/2philippines4u who doxxes people and shitposts.
Mama mo: Hey, is there any cool subreddits?
