a genre of music that kicks the asses of rappers, ditzy preppy girls that have 27 boyfriends in a week, and metal haters in general. ther r many subgenres of metal including:thrash metal, speed metal, death metal, death thrash, black metal, grindcore, metalcore,heavy and a fuck load more. nu metal is not fucking metal! its rap with a "heavy" guitar in the background. linkin park suxxxxxx!!!!!!people need to listen to real metal like metallica, slayer, sepultura, venom, cannibal corpse, black sabbath, iron maiden, motorhead, pig destroyer, deep purple, etc.

Metal is quite obviously enough either an element of the earth or a very wonderful genre originating from rock. Rock is also wonderful. "Metal Heads" are people who listen to Metal. These people are the best people the great Dieties unknown to us created. Those formentioned Dieties who reign above us love Metal Heads. In fact, they most likely despise anti-Metal-ers, that's what pop and most Emo is for. The great degredation set upon us by the whorey teens and tweens who think that Metal sucks and that faux music with a singer who may or may not be a good artist is a horrible thing. Do not judge someone by their taste in music, unless they adore whores, men and women alike, who sing to "bop bop bop", as mentioned by a previous definition. By saying that Metal sucks or that Metal Heads are unintelligent, you are most likely saying that you are either Old, a whore worshiping shit, very biased and ignorant to the "kick-ass-i-ness" of the Rock world, OR just need to stop sucking your boyfriend's dick long enough to listen to real music.

The best kind of music ever made. Created as a branch of rock, jazz and blues.
People stereotype it to death, saying it's nothing but loud guitars and screaming. Most of it is actually composed of complex riffs, excellent solo's, and the best singing in the music business. Sure, there are a few black sheep's in the genre but when you ignore that stuff, you will see that it is awesome.
Listened to by metalheads, who are also stereotyped. Close-minded people think that metalheads are nothing but loud and obnoxious rejects. This is usually untrue, a vast majority of metalheads are deep thinkers and individuals who don't just follow the crowd.
