amaretto sour

Amaretto is an almond flavored liqueur.
Amaretto Sour:
-one part amaretto(usually 2 oz.)
-one part(2-3 oz.)sweet & sour mix (a.k.a. sour mix or bar mix, made with sugar syrup and lemon and/or lime juice)
Shake together and serve 'on the rocks'
Garnish: maraschino cherry or orange slice

Amarette 

A spunky, fun, anachronistic (or should I say timeless?) type of girl. She's the best of every decade--the fun-loving flapper from the '20s, the hollywood glamour of the '30s and '40s, the lipstick from the '50s, the colors of the '60s and '70s and the ridiculousness and glory that was '80s fashion in all its forms--and yet, an original.

That girl is SUCH an Amarette. I could never pull off those vintage earrings with that leg warmer-romper combo!
