A combination of a stance and dancing, in which a person plants their feet in a pose and proceeds to dance rhythmically without moving their feet.

Let's have a stance off.

Rachel: Yo did you see how hard Rebekah rocked that stancing?
Sarah: I wish I could stance as great as she does.

microdance

Dancing is minimal movements so that no one will notice. Especially useful when rocking out to music in a crowded cafe or work setting.

Let's microdance to Gaga all day. I don't think anyone will notice.
