Taken from the Manx (Isle of Man) for "News", "Gossip", or "Peek". 'Skeet' mean to have a nosey into something, either somebody elses business, or anything else that requires you to "look".

The term can also mean "deal" or "business".

"Alright there yessir? Got any skeet?"

Hello there my friend, have you heard any gossip recently?

"Just gna take a skeet out the window"

I'm going to have a look out the window, maybe there are some scally fights worth watching.

"So there fella, whats the skeet here?"

So what's the deal with this then mate?

(Man takes out a newspaper) "Just reading the skeet.."

I'm just reading the news.

Zoe: "How's work going?"
Matt: "FMJ Zoe, FMJ. I am really over today, not one thing has gone to plan."
Zoe: "Oh. YOLO."
