Usually associated with a music style of soft contemporary rock, too often mislabeled as punk or goth. It developed as a result of children being force fed experimental mood enhancing medication by lazy and ignorant parents to drown out any real emotions or personality, leaving behind no trace of testosterone in males and psychosis in females. It is also associated with the fashion trends of the fans of this genre. Styles are similar to those of scenesters .
