Community Shield

An event in football (soccer) in the English Premier League where the teams who finished first and second respectively the year prior play each other for a trophy called the Community Shield. This normally takes place one week before the league itself starts.

Chelsea and Manchested United both finished in the top two again this season and will play each other for the community shield at Wembley Stadium tommorow.

One of the oldest rivalry's in football (or soccer), River Plate vs Boca Juniors. The event in which this takes place is most notably known as the "super clasico".
