Scottish ryming slang meaning to cry. Originates from the Scottish word "greeting" meaning to cry. Often used to mock the fact that someone is upset. It can be used as a noun (the person can be nicknamed "Pete" if they cry often) or as a verb (meaning to cry).

A nickname for a family of very similar looking people that have possibly inbred.

Phillip: "Did you see them?"
Average Joe: "Yeah they all looked the same!"

The name given to a pet (most often a cat) that has been ran over and returned to the owner only to be cremated.

"Your cat was totally cinders!"
