Fan-baiting 

When producers, actors, or studios intentionally provoke or antagonize their audiences in order to generate publicity, create artificial controversy, or deflect genuine criticism, especially in cases of new and expensive productions.
"Amazon is fan-baiting by calling everyone who criticizes Rings of Power racists."
"Didn't Star Wars do the same thing with Kenobi?"

Racial Equity 

A state in which different racial groups have equal outcomes in areas such as test scores, income, arrests, etc.

It is often confused with racial equality and equal opportunity. However, achieving equity usually involves increasing or decreasing opportunities for some groups in order to obtain equal outcomes.
"The company will be introducing quotas to achieve racial equity in hiring."
"Affirmative action programs aim to promote racial equity in college admissions."

Cancel Mob 

Social media users who latch on to accusations of bad behavior and attempt to get the accused fired or stripped of their status through pressure on advertisers and companies.

do the work 

Telling someone to 'do the work' means that they are not well-informed on a particular issue or are not taking appropriate action based on their professed beliefs. Often used in the context of social justice.
"You can't just say you're anti-racist, you've got to do the work."
"You really don't know what you're talking about. You need to do the work."

subvert expectations 

To behave contrary to an established belief or assumption for the purpose of being fresh and interesting. Usually used in the arts when analyzing the reaction of the audience to a performance or piece of writing. Sometimes mistakenly used as a positive when the result in neither fresh nor interesting.
A. Star Wars: The Last Jedi did a great job of subverting audience expectations!
B. No, it was just a narrative mess.

A. Your report written in crayon was very unprofessional.
B. Come on! I was just trying to subvert expectations!

Emotional Labor

The energy expended to control your feelings when dealing with other people, particularly in the workplace.
That customer was such an ass! I should be getting paid extra for all of my emotional labor!
