Frank Burns

A character from the classic television show M*A*S*H, Major Frank Burns was a roommate of Hawkeye and B.J (or Trapper depending on season). Burns was an extremely conservative and very G.I. Hawkeye and his roommate often played practical jokes on him and poked fun about his poor medical and surgical skills. Overall someone to be described as a Frank Burns is a hypocrite and a kiss ass rule follower.

Person 1: Man the assistant principal is such a Frank Burns
Person 2: Dude you're right we should prank him

All-Purpose Idiot

An all-purpose idiot is someone who is downright stupid and has no idea what they are doing. The term originated from M*A*S*H

(The camp was to be inspected by General Macauthur so Frank was in charge of duty rosters)
Hawkeye: What do you mean no orderlies?
Trapper: They're all out manicuring the rocks, I couldn't even get an X-Ray on this guy.
Hawkeye: Are we running a hospital or a motel for visiting demi-gods?
Trapper: It's Frank Burns the all-purpose idiot.

Klinger

Klinger was a character from the television show M*A*S*H Klinger was the rank of corpral and was drafted in the army as were most other characters. While most desperately wished they could go home Klinger took it a step further and dressed like a woman, he wanted his commanding officers (col. Blake or col. Potter) to think he was crazy and give him a discharge. Klinger along with cross dressing tried other wacky things to get out of the army such as eating a jeep and trying to trick col. Potter into thinking his brothers were killed in an explosion at the Toledo Harmonica Factory. Describing someone as a Klinger is someone who uses the most ridiculous excuses to cancel plans or leave class or work.

Kid: Mom I'm really sick I have stage three Ebola cancer.
Mom: Nice try Klinger but I don't believe it and you're going to school.
