Serves as a hand signal and way of pointing at things. A knifehand is done by fully extending and adjoining the thumb and fingers. If somebody points a knifehand in your direction, you're about to have a really bad day. It is also a strike in mcmap

A alteration of the USMC term Moto. This word is used to describe some overbearing marine who extremely loud and obnoxious all the time. He is so motivated even in the shittiest situations that everyone wants to kick him in the teeth.
Motards yell all the time, wear clothes with USMC logos all over them, have a ridiculous amount of usmc tattoos, and use the word oorah! excessively. They also like to call cadence while they walk around when not marching a platoon. A motard is usually some private or private first class who hasn't even been deployed.

A positive phrase in the civillian sector, but in the military it is used negatively. You do something stupid, then you're "that guy" that gets everyone fucked up because of your actions. This type of marine is also referred to as a shitbag, buddy fucker, garbage, etc.
Drill instructor: "Don't be the one that gets caught stealing peanut butter packets from the chow hall! I WILL FUCK YOU UP!"
(1 day later) Drill Instructor: "GOOD! Recruit dumbass decided to steal peanut butter from the chow hall and eat it on firewatch! Fuck the Drill Instructor right? GET THE FUCK ON THE QUARTERDECK RIGHT NOW!"

A USMC drill instructor's favorite phrase to add onto every single sentence. It is extremely annoying. Drill Instructors must be taught to say this to recruits to annoy them because ALL OF THEM do it.
Drill Instructor: "We are stepping off to chow in two minutes, you understand me? Don't be the one that isn't done making their rack by then, you understand me? I will slay you if you are fucked up in any way once you walk out that hatch, you understand me?!"

A Lance Corporal in the USMC who abuses his power by making Privates and Private First Classes do dumb shit. A Lance Commandant is usually overly strict, and just an asshole that hates life and takes out his frustration on others below him. He thinks he is better than the rest of the junior enlisted just because he has been in the USMC for a few more months.
"Wow, one guy is one minute late to the fifteen prior for our accountability formation at 5:00am, so Lance Commandant is making us all pick up every single shell on the beach as a punishment, because apparently it's our fault the marine is slow as hell."
