Nickname given to the F6F Hellcat, a Carrier-Based fighter aircraft used by the US Navy and Royal Navy During World War Two. Earned its nickname due to its superiority over most of the Aircraft put out by the Japanese.

Nickname given to the Noordyun UC-64 Norseman, a Canadian-built utility aricraft primarily used for light transportation duties during World War Two. Earned its nickname because musician Glenn Miller died in one when the Norseman carryin him and his enterouge crashed into the English Channel.
