when someone is stalking someone but they don't want the other person to know it, they will answer awkward questions with "news feed", regardless of if the interaction takes place on facebook or not.

Christine: why did you comment on the status i made, like, a month ago?
Joey: News feed.

Christine: why were you following me home yesterday?
Joey: News feed.
