This species of medium tank has top modules as its dominant trait, but intelligence and camouflage are recessive traits. They tend to follow the largest tanks around, taking advantage of sniper spots that allow them to shoot at zero targets. Upon spotting an enemy, they expose themselves unnecessarily, ending up being shot by the entire enemy force just to get their three shots off. Upon evolution to the T57 species, camouflage remains recessive, but their blockheaded, ignorant behavior remains the same.

This species of heavy tank is one of the most commonly seen species in the wilderness, thanks to their thick armor which helps them stay alive in dangerous situations. However, their lack of intelligence and camouflage counteracts this advantage, resulting in them being easy prey for advanced predators like the Caernarvon Action X. The species is divided into two subspecies; one of which has the upgraded turret with the long 107mm gun, the other which carries the stock, down syndrome turret with the average 122mm gun. These two subspecies have an equal chance of appearing in the wilderness. Their behavior is average for a heavy tank, able to fight as menacing brawlers but their intelligence prevents such action. Upon evolution to the ST-1 species, most characteristics remain the same.

According to observations of M103s in their natural habitats, camouflage is recessive, intelligence are recessive, but surprisingly top modules are dominant within the species. Only one member has been noted to show intelligence and presence of camouflage. Upon evolution, the species becomes slightly more intelligent, knowing how to properly utilize hull down spots but fail to achieve the correct angling. Camouflage is still recessive.
