A situation on the battlefield, where one side is seriously outnumbered. This often refers to a strategy involving sending large quantities of low-level troops, or to the lack of population balance in MMORPG games.

Basically, the areas that Germany lost during World War II. "Pomorze" means "after the sea", and "Poland" means "after a land", where "land" is a German word for a region.
