Used to describe acts which would be considered foolish or pleasure. More often than not however "play play" is preceded by the word "no" to indicate the seriousness of an event.
Person 1, "Yo what up T."
Person 2, "Aint shit what you want?"
Person 1, "This aint no play play, get over here."
Person 2, "(click)"
Person 2 has now been alerted that there is serious business to be had and many dolla dolla bills to be made.

A word way overused in many situations. When you get played it means someone knowingly used your emotions in order to get something out of you, whether it be gifts, sex, pics, or validation. If you caught feelings for ur friend and then got friend zoned that ain’t getting played.
Some sad pos: damn my friend Zach was so nice to me and I even bought him dinner and then he turned me down... I got played
Anyone with two brain cells: that’s not playing tf you got your own feelings hurt by catching feelings for a friend

When someone shows interest in you but is really giving you false hints to play with your emotions. Leading you on only to friendzone tyou.
