This technique of the wordHiten Mitsurugi Ryu/word is taught before the ougi. This move involves striking the 9 vital points (Head, shoulders, wrists, both sides of the waist, between the legs, and the chest) so fast that each strike seems simultaneous. Sometimes doubled or tripled, and possibly said in a sing-songy voice for added comedic effect to imitate a muted trumpet, which is how the meme originated.
