These individuals often hold epistemological nihilistic beliefs, and a clear lack of topical understanding. An "ATS Edgelord" will often try to bully, belittle, and "out conspiracy" others.

However, unlike normal edgelords, these commenters actually believe these opinions (albeit their belief is usually based on feeling rather than research) and are not just given for shock value. They even usually believe they're smarter than others and are unaware that they are seeking validation.

Get the National Edgelord Daymug. A person who posts a lame, edgy, or nonsensical word on Urban Dictionary for "the lulz" or to attempt exposing a wider audience to their inside joke slang term without regard to its potential relevance to said wider audience.
Urban Dictionary is an interesting concept, however the experience has been ruined by Urban Dictionary edgelords. This behavior is indicative of why we cant have nice things.
