Jessica took Terry’s sunglasses. Terry was told that his sunglasses were left at Jessica’s apartment after a beach trip even though he always leaves them in his car. Passive spam consists of stupid quiz-like questions on Facebook that either require some small amount of math or analytical skills (in order to make the people responding feel intelligent...even though they aren't)
Also, the classic "like or my grandmother will die" type posts. In this context the spammer is using the person's good nature to accomplish their goals instead of the person's desire to answer a question (that usually is incredibly simple to figure out).
