Another image for someone trying desperately to get a key from somebody to try.

The poser would try both the newcomer image and the established image, in case one or the other failed, and people didn't accept her. She was too much of a coward to fail as herself, or openly remain the villain that people rejected her entire life.

To set the trend / leave an impression on others while representing one's true self. Can be used to refer to someone with a great fashion sense, but is more frequently used to describe strange and unique characters from all walks of life. When someone stands out from the crowd with confidence, swagger and unique / bizarre style, that person is making the image.

George: Yo, Dave. What's up with your boy dressing like a wanna-be gangster?
Dave: Chino's rockin' that steez. He's making the image.

John: Yo man... look at that weird homeless dude with the purple hair freestyling for that hot girl.
Mike: Dude is making the image!

It's that annoying message that certain email websites will give when they are forcing your 24.7MB of gifs into the maximum 25MB of space alloted per email. If you happen to mess with your computer at all during this time, it will delete everything you just did and tell you it couldn't process that much weeb trash at once.

Untamable image

Posing as an untamable being.

She wanted an untamable image and an outlaw poster, but the reality was there were people far more stubborn, far more independent/self reliant/loners by nature, and far less competitive about life that thought the untamable image was silly. She seemed more like someone who wanted to fit a loner image when that was convenient, a social image when that was convienient, an untamable image when that was convenient, and a responsible even slighty subserviant housewife image when that was convenient.
