As one might guess, the term is a portmanteau of the words navigate and gazing.

When you are navigazing, you are paying more attention to the environment around you than to where you are actually going. This state of being is generally useful when you have time to kill or simply enjoy looking at the world around you.

I was navigazing around and I totally wound up in Vegas.

Narrigating 

The act of telling one's fellow movie-goers what's happening in the movie they've already seen. One is narrating (speeking aloud) during a movie, telling fellow movie goers what's happening, or the direction (navigating) - put both words together and you have one of the most annoying behaviors known to the thinking man: narrigating!

Zen Navigation is a form of universal navigation. The technique used, rather than consulting a map, is to find someone who looks like they know where they're going and follow them. It very rarely gets you where you wanted to go but always where you needed to be.
