See that girl over there, she's been a poseur for everyone this year including the teacher's pet. That's a Wannabe Poseur if I ever did see one.

Someone who pretends to hate anything mainstream, just so they can look cool or like they're punk.

Billie Joe doesn't want to watch Titanic, because he is a hardcore poseur. Yet he has no problem with watching Twilight.

A person who emulates a Goth for the attention or as a rebellion against their parents.

Reptilian poseur

Someone that spends most of their life trying to coup somebody else's life and get credit for living their life rather than doing things that actually interest them or what they really wanted to do as a kid. Someone that says they are passionate about music for example (despite not really holding anything sacred) and wants to become a musician not because they actually love music, but mostly to coup the life of someone they know who thought about becoming a musician when they grew up, discouraging the other person from ever trying or even thinking there is a point once they know it will only become another pointless battle for supremacy or some other bullshit their best efforts will get turned into that make the entire thing something other than a party or anything else fun or exciting that it seemed to be when it started out.

Be careful what you share with the mouth of the south, she is looking to coup anything you have any interest in doing with your life from you so that you can never get a life together, thus making you the failure and the fool forever (the weak one). It's too bad that even a poseur can somehow manage to end up in a history book as something other than who they really are, and many people will believe it rather than question what they read, that gives the Reptilian poseur a path to power to walk all over others to get there.

youtube poseur

A phony youtuber that claims they always get sent death threats and drama when really hardly anybody pays attention to or knows who they are.

The youtube poseur thought that he/she the most important/influential person in the world, you could tell by the way they described what happened to people with a youtube channel, and you would think their was an army coming for this guy/girl on every front when in reality most people thought that he/she was about as interesting as watching paint dry, a couple of dorks that felt betrayed by the SS because it collapsed in the 1940's.

art poser

Someone who completely lacks any artistic talent or creativity whatsoever. Always talking about themselves and their "work", these people go to great lengths to appear as real artists. Art posers have never had an original thought or idea in their lives but act as though everything they do is groundbreaking and original. They always hang together in little cliques and are highly suspicious of any "outsider"--particularly real artists who might expose them for what they really are. The titles of their "work" are always pretentious and completely meaningless; for example, a grey canvas with a small pink spot in one corner, titled "The Juxtaposition of Random Gratification #109." The lengthy descriptions they give of their "work" consist of rambling pseudointellectual bullshit that took 25 times the amount of time to compose than the actual piece itself; this is to compensate for the fact that the work only took 15 minutes to make, with no artistic ability at all. Art posers are typically so delusional that they don't realize how delusional they are. Art posers always worship Andy Warhol and strive to be just like him. Art posers often stand around in galleries, pretending to find deep meaning in other art posers' work. They frequently use the word "ambiguous" and will spend half an hour offering a pseudointellectual analysis of a grey, or blank canvas. Art posers have been known to mistake light switches in galleries as part of the sculptural exhibit.
