Wasn't self defense because he wasn't being actively being aggressed upon. The homeless guy was shouting about being hungry...

But I guess if being obnoxious should be a death sentence, I can het on board with that. I should have killed that cripple for doing THE EXACT SAME THING as Jordan Nealy on several occasions.
