The use of sexual images in anime to pursade audiences to a) buy their product or b) continue watching their programme. This can go from anything ranging from barely covered tits and boobs to small/tight outfits or crops of a shot to just exclude innapropriate parts. Full nudity is rare except in porn, where it is surprisingly common.

Incidental nudity. Nudity in situations not intended to be sexual. Such as a woman on a ladder changing a lightbulb, or doing her taxes. A favorite of Gilbert Gottfried, for whom it is named.
