Trauma Queen 

A person (generally female) who acts as if she is severly dysfunctional for attention. Similar to a Drama Queen, except Trauma Queens play the "little lost girl" role. Usually she will tell you a heartbreaking story of being abused, raped, incarcerated, or hospitalized and suffering from severe emotional disorders. They frequently have fake nervous breakdowns or "wrist cutting episodes" where they scratch their arms up a little with a safety pin.

Kate says she is having catatonic episodes again from being raped in a Turkish prison, lol, what a Trauma queen.

trauma junky 

Firefighters, paramedics, and ER staff who enthusiastically love their professions and enjoy the excitement of caring for the injured and saving their lives are known as Trauma Junkies. Virtually everyone in EMS could be considered a trauma junky to a certain extent.

Bob is a trauma junky.

A mom who hugs and comforts you when you get physically or emotionally hurt. trauma hug, hurt hug, trauma momma, handy mom, mom, mother, momma, trauma, hurt, injured, accident

Thank goodness when I was young, I had a trauma mama who took care of me after all of my skateboard accidents.
