A website you go to when you want to learn more about a person in regards to things the average person who does not know them is not supposed to know, such as the individual's criminal record, where they live presently and in the past, who are their relatives, both in their immediate family and their extended family, their current and past cell phone numbers and emails, etc.

Brittany: How do you know so much about Andrew?
Sarah: I found a website on the internet that lets you search for people you know and lets you learn more about their background than most public accessible resources are able to provide. I bought a report using a credit card yesterday.
Brittany: You shouldn't have used that website. That was a people search website, which lets you look up people's private information without them knowing about. Generally, its not ethical to use them, unless your searching yourself.
Sarah: I didn't know that. I'll keep that in mind next time.
