When someone continues trying to explain something to you despite the fact that you already understand.
"So if I can put it another way, Pythagorus' Theorem is basically a way to get the longest side -"

Overstand is a random shower thought I had when I thought of the word understand. "Under" in the word "understand" would imply that there is a word "overstand" with "over" in the name. So basically, it's the opposite of understand.
(Person A:) Hey, did you know that koalas *blah blah blah*?
(Person B:) I overstand
(Person A:) what..?
