The opposite of a 'filmbro'; someone who has a wide-range of film knowledge, particularly in regards to older, obscure, and/or international films. Similar to 'filmbros' however, their egotistical narcissim often leads to the belittlement of others for not sharing the same filmography tastes as them, often leading to comments and assumptions such as: "You've probably never seen/heard of blank before..." or "I wouldn't expect you to know who blank is; they're pretty underrated and unknown in my opinion..."

They can often be located at underground and/or smaller movie theaters, and are often seen browsing through the 'Criterion Collection' at your local movie store - in fact, most of their film knowledge often comes from the 'Criterion Collection'.

-The rear speakers of the "surround system" are of different make than the front speakers (or worse, the front speakers are the TV's intergrated speakers).
-The "surround system" lacks a center or subwoofer channel, or both.
-The projector operates at a 4:3 format (like the ones used for powerpoint presentations). Unlike proper home cinema systems which have 16:9 projectors.
-Picture is provided via composite (yellow plug) cables.
-The pre-recorded material consists of VHS tapes, Divx files and single layer DVDs made with DVD shrink (proper home cinema's have dual layer DVDs, MKV files and Blurays)

Get the Ghetto home cinema mug.Derived from the word "sin", as most movies contain inappropriate contents (vulgarity, profanity, violence, drug use, etc.) This causes the lack of kid-friendly movies to be shown at K-12 school campuses as movies are made to entertain, not to educate. Movies without such inappropriate contents are like coffee without sugar — they're not something literally everyone wants but they do brighten the day of those who akcually desire them.
With so many films filled with inappropriate contents, it's no wonder schools struggle to find age-appropriate cinema movies for K-12 students!
