white out

The act of abruptly leaving a social function with little to no notification because you have decided you are tired, bored, or "just done". There are no lingering farewells, and oftentimes it is done so quickly that (like a flash) others are unaware that you have even left.
Partygoer 1: "Hey, where is Jackie?"
Partygoer 2: "Oh, you know how she likes to white out. She's been gone for thirty minutes or more...just decided she was done with this party!"
