2-Iodothiophene (TP-I, Thiopheyl iodide, 2-ThioPhenyl iodide) is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of TP2P (ThioPhenyl-2-Propanone, 2-Thienylacetone). 2-Iodothiophene can react with ethyl acetoacetate and sodium ethoxide using CuI (Copper Iodide) and then reacted with hydrochloric acid and heated. 2-Iodothiophene can also undergo grignard reactions to obtain TP2Pol (ThioPhenyl-2-Propanonl, 2-Thienylisopropanol).
2-Iodothiophene has been obtained by addition of half of 50% aqueous nitric acid dropwise to a mixture of iodine and thiophene with vigorous stirring. As soon as the evolution of gases subsided the rest of the aqueous nitric acid was added to the reaction mixture and refluxed for 30 min. The organic layer was separated and steam distilled to obtain 2-iodothiophene.
Iodination of thiophene with iodine and mercuric oxide at 0°C gave a mixture of 2-iodothiophene (70%) and 2,5-diiodothiophene. 2-Iodothiophene has been exclusively obtained by nitrating thiophene with a mixture of iodine and nitric acid at 90°C. An easy approach for iodination of thiophene is the reaction of iodine with lithiated thiophene.

Tony: I iodinated thiophene using nitric acid and slowly added it, then refluxed it for 30 minutes at 90 °C. I obtained 2-Iodothiophene.

Timothy: I synthesized TP-MeMgCl by adding magnesium turnings in anhydrous dibutyl ether with ultrasound and reacted it with acetonitrile and hydrolyzed it with hydrochloric acid to yield TP2P (ThioPhenyl-2-Propanone, 2-Thienylacetone).

Get the TP-MeMgClmug. IND2P (Ind2P, Indanyl-2-Propanone), is an intermediate in the synthesis of IAP (IndanylAminoPropane) and IMAP (IndanylMethylAminoPropane). It is made by reacting IndanylMethyl Magnesium Chloride (Ind-MeMgCl) and Acetonitrile in diethyl ether, followed by acid work-up. IND2P is also made by reacting Indanyl Bromide (Ind-Br) with ethyl acetoacetate using sodium ethoxide, hydrochloric acid, and a Copper Iodide (CuI) catalyst. Indanyl-2-Propanone can react with methylamine using aluminum galinstan amalgam to synthesize IndanylMethylAminoPropane (IMAP).

Get the IND2Pmug. Khat is a plant with leaves that you chew to get energy and boost focus and at higher doses get a high. It's relaxing yet stimulating. Khat leaves contain mostly cathinone and a little cathine and it's mostly the cathinone (phenylpropanoneamine, 2-aminopropiophenone) that gives you energy with cathine contributing very little to the energy and the high. Khat is used to study similar to Adderall, Ritalin, Modafinil, Armodafinil, Flodafinil, Hydrafinil, Methiopropamine, Arecoline Hydrobromide, and Caffeine. Khat can be chewed freshly picked from the khat tree or brewed into a tea. The leaves must be used quickly, or it will all turn into cathine (phenylpropanolamine, D-Norpseudoephedrine) within 3 days of picking them. Khat is legal in some places like Ethiopia, Yemen, and South Africa, yet illegal in other places like the US and Canada. Khat releases dopamine and norepinephrine. Khat is like Caffeine, but stronger. Khat is nature's Adderall, though not nearly as strong. Khat is closer to Coffee than to Adderall, Ritalin, or Modafinil. The Khat plant needs less water than the Coffee plant and can withstand higher temperatures than the coffee plant. Khat loves the sunlight. If global warming continues, there will be no more coffee plants and people will have to legalize Khat as an alternative to Coffee, though Modafinil, Methiopropamine, Armodafinil, Propylhexedrine HCl, and Arecoline Hydrobromide are other alternatives to coffee.

Propylhexedrine comes in many forms, such as freebase oil and salt forms. Freebase Propylhexedrine, Propylhexedrine HCl, Propylhexedrine Acetate, Propylhexedrine Citrate, Propylhexedrine Carbonate, and more. Vitamin P (Propylhexedrine Acetate or Propylhexedrine HCl) is used in doses of 60mg to 250mg for cognitive enhancement and for boosting memory and focus. Vitamin P is used in colleges, laboratories, and more. Propylhexedrine HCl is synthesized starting from Cyclohexyl Bromide and Acetone via Acetone enolate formed from sodium ethoxide to form Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone. Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone is then condensed with freebase Methylamine and forms Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone Methylimine intermediate. The solvents are carbonic acid, Formic acid, ethanol, and hydrogen oxide (H2O, Water). The formed CO2 provides an inert atmosphere in the round bottom flask. This is then reduced via reductive amination with Aluminum Galinstan Amalgam and Palladium on Carbon Catalyst to Propylhexedrine freebase. Then it's filtered through zeolite, Galinstan Palladium Amalgam is collected to be reused, and the filtrate is Propylhexedrine freebase in ethanol which is then dried with Magnesium Sulfate and filtered again. Then HCl gas is bubbled through it to form a Propylhexedrine HCl salt.

Get the Vitamin Pmug. A way of making Dextroamphetamine (Speed). You put 100ml 70% ethylamine solution, Coleman's Premium Camp Fuel 14oz, 1/4 cup Sodium Hydroxide, 1/2 cup Ammonium Nitrate, Phenylpropanolamine HCl 2.4g, Lithium metal from batteries, soda stream bottle or something, shake n' bake, and burp it. You got to wear a gas mask. It's an explosion hazard. The advanced part is the Ethylamine liquid allowing for an easier reaction with less pressure. Li(NH3)4 and Li(CH3CH2NH2)4 system.
