"To do for Africa" is a phrase that is used to describe an exaggerated pattern or extravagance thoughts. The phrase is curled up from an idea repeating something or process for each individual in Africa which will eventually take a lot of time and resources for the size of the population. It can be likened to the common phrase "for all the teas in China"
