Used to describe something that is incredibly crappy, somewhat purposeless and usually is instantaneously obsolete. Somewhat derogatory.

Origin: A video game controller with a "Macro" button on it, which usually causes said game to cease function.
"Dude, this controller has a button that freezes the game."

"Yeah, there's no excuse for that."
