ganne, also known as gande is a sami, or northern norway word used to curse someone, or wish bad luck upon them. it comes from sapmi culture and their traditions with magic. It means almost the same as manifesting. you can ganne someone else, or yourself. this is typically a negative things, and ganning is thought to have negative impacts on your karma. many people use it in conversation to discourage hoping for someones demise, or worrying about yourself.

Guy1: Ugh, i feel sick, i think i might be coming down with a cold
Guy2: you mustn't ganne that on yourself

Guy1: ugh i can't stand that bitch, i hope she chokes to death.
