Not a very nice person. The deadbeat father of Luke and Leia Skywalker. He also emotionally and physically abused his wife, Padme. So all in all, Darth Vader aka Anakin Skywalker was not a very nice man.

The stunning and successful trilogy by Australian Garth Nix. There are 3 books to the trilogy: Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen. It tells the story of two Abhorsens over a time span of about 30 years and how they deal with the various evils thrown at them.

The abhorsen is an inherited role which involves the fighting of necromancers, the Dead and Free Magic constructs. It is an often a hard and tiring job and leaves most abhorsens looking aged beyond their years. It can be inferred that abhorsens usually die of their job, ie: getting killed by a Free Magic Construct or necromancer, etc. and often the next abhorsen is quite young, taking on the role in their late teens.

The Abhorsen Trilogy mainly takes place in the Old Kingdom, a place which is rife with Charter and Free Magic. Ancelstierre which is the neighbouring country is based on 1920's version of England or perhaps, Australia. There are two types of magic in the Old Kingdom: Charter Magic, which is constrained and proper magic, the 'good' magic in a sense. The other one is Free Magic, 'bad' magic in a sense. It is wild and unchannelled and dangerous to both the user and the target of that magic.

Another important part of the Abhorsen trilogy is the bloodlines. There are 3 bloodlines in the Old Kingdom. The Abhorsen as previously explained, the Clayr, which are characterised as a group of mainly women (there are very few male Clayr) who alway sport blonde hair, a genetic tan and the amazing yet burdensome gift of the Sight- the ability to see into the possible futures. The last bloodline is the Royal family and the only ones that can make and bind Charter stones. They obviously rule over the Old Kingdom and it was once believed that the Royal Family died out due to the betrayal of one of it's princes, Prince Rogir, who fell to necromancy and Free Magic. However, this was proved wrong with the discovery of Rogir's half-brother, Toriggan aka Touchstone's frozen body in Holehallow. Holehallow, the traditional burial place of the Royal Family. This discovery had taken 200 years after Rogir's betrayal.

The story of the two Abhorsens, Sabriel and Lirael is very well constructed and intricate in it's design. Sabriel and Lirael are half-sisters. Sabriel being the older of two by 18 years. Sabriel was raised mainly in the country of Ancelstierre as part of a plan to defeat Rogir, who by this time was a creature of the Dead and now known as Kerrigor. Lirael was illegitmately conceived as part of another plan to defeat another evil in the Old Kingdom. Lirael's mother was Arielle, a Daughter of the Clayr and her father was Abhorsen Terciel. Arielle had seen through her Sight what she specifically must do to preserve the Old Kingdom- that was conceiving Lirael. She was a very powerful conduit of the Charter magic thanks to such a strange and powerful genetic heritage. She also had one companion, the Disreuptable Dog, which has been a very popular character with fans.

A villain from the Harry Potter series. Bellatrix Lestrange nee Black is possibly the only female Death-Eater. The Death-Eater terror group which is lead by Dark wizard, Voldemort is known for their horrific crimes against wizard society and their deep prejudice against wizards and witches that are not pureblood.

Bellatrix Lestrange was of the Black Family and sister to Narcissa Malfoy and Andromeda Tonks. She married Rodulphus Lestrange and this is assumed, soon after school and she has no known offspring unlike her two sisters. She is also the cousin of Sirius and Regulus Black. Sirius, which she murdered in the summer of 1996 in an attack at the Ministry of Magic.

She was said to be very beautiful in her younger years and had the typical personality of the aristocratic Blacks- arrogant, prejudiced, cruel and cunning. It also said she was quite intelligent too and has a very deep devotion to the Death-Eater cause.
She spent 14 years in Azkaban, a horrifying wizard prison for various crimes including the torture of Frank and Alice Longbottom through the use of the Cruciatus curse. She had drove the couple to incurable insanity and has most likely done to this several other targets of hers. She is also rather mentally disturbed herself and is rash and overly confident in her actions and speech.

It is inferred by the book and some fans that Bellatrix may have some sort of relationship with her leader, Lord Voldemort beyond a purely devoted follower one.

Currently Bellatrix Lestrange is on the run/hiding out with Voldemort and is the focus of many vendettas of the Light Side.

Female character in the Harry Potter series. The middle sister of the Unholy Trinity of the Black Sisters. Was a Slytherin and therefore had loads of ambition, except her ambition lain beyond the usual Black goals of Toujour Purs. Her ambition eventually manifested in marrying the muggle fella, Ted Tonks (possibly that news reader in Philosopher's Stone) and giving birth to her half-blood daughter, Nymphadora Tonks. She was kicked out of the Black family for this.

Concerning her visual appearance, it can be assumed she was also fairly good-looking like her two sisters, Narcissa and Bellatrix and her cousins, Sirius and Regulus. As for what side she is on...that's unknown. Despite being open-minded to the muggle culture, does not necessarily mean she's sided up with Dumbledore like her deceased cousin, Sirius Black. She certainly isn't with Voldemort, like her sisters and deceased cousin, Regulus Black. Probably on her own side with her own agenda for the upcoming wizard war.

Not much else is known about this third sister and there is little hint to her personality, although Nymphadora mentioned in OotP her mother's talent with household spells suggesting Andromeda may have the trait of neatness and organization.
