Pretty much what the big guys use for music production. It is not just for some dinky music producer in their own bedroom, it is for the big guys for the major labels out there. If you want to mess around, get a bootleg copy or fork in $50 of FL Studio and play around with it. Very expensive to buy...home studios are not worth it with at least $300 for the set...you can buy a FL Studio set for that worth. All you need is a keyboard, a usb, and maybe a few vsts downloaded from the internet.

Get the ipod video mug.Pretty decent music production software and it is pretty much at affordable price, so you can buy more crap. It does have some decent stuff that pro tools don't even have. Pro Tools doesn't have a beatmaker thing, you have do this by hand and the beats are hot. And pro tools doesn't have as many cool VSTs as this FL Studio. Pro Tools is generally for pop music production and is used by the major labels. It is great for recording your own band, but generally leave this for the pros. If you want even pro tools to run, you need to buy a bunch of overpriced expensive shit such as the Mbox or a Digidesign mixer, no just anything. FL Studio, just buy a cheap Wal Mart keyboard, get a USB port, pay $100 for FL Studio at Best Buy or your local music studio, and download a few VSTs and you are ready to roll.
And FL Studio is really for people that want to make hip-hop, R&B, pop, dance, rock...anything. It is way better than Pro Tools and is cheaper.

Get the fl studio mug.Supposedly the next decade and this is what I can see coming.
It will be a lot more conservative than the 2000s and there will be a backlash of the liberal views of the late 2000s, which are starting to fail.
The 2010s will have a more focus on family and true friends. People will start having more kids as opposed to 1-3 kid families in the last few decades. TV will become more down to earth and something worth watching. We will be seeing more variety shows and sitcoms, and reality shows are going to be more "realisic" as it was in the 1990s or just die out. Game shows will become more popular along with talk shows and talk radio. Movies will become classics because people would rather see a good movie that is worth their money, not just another blockbuster film, remake, or sequel.
Technology will become more handy and not as much as a "glam" thing or "status symbol" as in the 2000s. Albums and even vinyl will come back...downloading off of iTunes will die out. The internet will become something that will be snuck into stuff and more of an business/informational tool than a social toy. Wireless networking will becoming more widespread and high speed internet will be cheaper.
Music will be more talented and more dance/electronica. Fashion will start being glam and bling, and more brighter colors and nice looking fabrics and designs than actually wearing a label. Ravers will be all over the place.

Get the 2010s mug.Really the laid back year in high school and kids are the nicest. Classic teenagers. The only thing you really need to worry about sophomore year is getting a learners permit and maybe have an idea where you want to go to colllege, but the rest is a pretty easy ride. But you get pounded with a lot of homework that year and your classes are gritty. This is usually the year to read Shakespeare and you usually take an American History and Biology/Chemistry class that year. You may take world too in some schools.
These kids are usually head up your ass teenegers. A lot of dating, teen pregancies, anorexia, etc. The worry of fitting in is not as bad as 9th so you turn into slobs watching Family Guy. This is the age when you like to go old school and start liking classic rock. The teenage classic rock/indie heads are usually sophomores, but you get corporate by junior year.

Get the sophomore mug.A R&B, urban pop, and melodic hip-hop station that is played on XM-Sirius. It used to be identical to The City and The City was way better because we have some mixtapes and real hip-hop, not this half fast Nelly type pop type crap that is not even hip-hop, but it is more pop. Now it plays a lot of good stuff that is liked by teenage girls and young adult girls that think Lil Wayne is the best guy who hit the planet. Not as hardcore as the other rap stations and it is more appropriate for the work world.
