Carpal Thumbel Syndrome 

A syndrome where the thumbs can't be used to text on a smartphone due to over texting.

Unlike carpal tunnel, where the problems occur due to a median nerve in the wrist, Carpal Thumbel is due to a nerve pinching in the hand.

"Kara, why can't you type a text?"

"I can't move my thumbs! I have tingling, numbness, weakness, and pain in my thumbs! Could it be Carpal Tunnel!?"

"No. What you suffer from is Carpal Thumbel Syndrome."

Carpal Thumbel 

A condition resulting from excessive text messaging or use of a PDA keyboard. Symptoms range from stiffness to a complete inability to bend your thumb(s). Long term effects may include hitchhiking paralysis.

When ones fingers force them to type swear words uncontrollably, typically on internet forums.

They accused me of trolling the forums, I considered it Carpal Turrets.

Carpal Tunnel Of Love Syndrome 

When a new song is released/leaked from a band, causing the band’s fan base to react strongly. Symptoms include:

-Posting a flurry of topics on the band’s message board
-Posting bulletins on Myspace
-Ripping the song and spreading downloads across the fanbase
-Make a Myspace for the song so the fanbase can add it to their private Myspaces
-Puzzling over the lyrics with constant debate over hard-to-decipher lines
-Putting lyrics from the song in their Myspace names/Myspace bylines/AIM profiles/away messages
-Crying
-Saying their faith in the band has been restored
-Putting the song on repeat for many days
-Smiling non-stop for the next week or so

Named after the notable reaction Fall Out Boy fans experienced when the song “Carpal Tunnel Of Love” was released from AbsolutePunk.net on November 10th.

Wow, those Fall Out Boy boardies really had a case of Carpal Tunnel Of Love Syndrome when "Carpal Tunnel Of Love" was released!

Carpal Texter Syndrom 

The pain that occurs in your wrists after too much texting or emailing on your phone.

Basically carpal tunnel syndrome that is caused by excessive phone typing.

My wrists are aching. I gotta stop writing long emails on my Blackberry. It's giving me carpal texter syndrome.

Carpal Tourette Syndrome 

A neuropsychiatric disorder characterized by physical tics. These tics travel from the brain down through the carpal cannal causing the subject to experience uncontrolled urges to type mostly incoherent babble and useless drivel. When one finds themselves on social media sites carrying on senselessly, typing a lot but saying mostly nothing, this is known as carpal tourette syndrome (CTS).

It's basically a get out of jail free card for those times when you've typed something that you regret and can't delete it.

I blame my carpal tourette syndrome for last night's facebook rant.

I didn't mean to be so mean when I texted you, it's my carpal tourettes flaring up again.
